Part-time After-School Coding Teachers

We are seeking after-school instructors who love to code and love working with kids.  Our team shares the belief that coding is a valuable skill and that anyone can learn to be a good coder with time and practice.  Ability to engage kids is prioritized over development expertise.  Minimum committment of 3 hours a week with availability between 2:30-4:30 Monday-Thursday.

 

Requirements:

• Experience with Scratch and Python preferred

• Interest in working with and engaging children

• Passion for solving problems and passing on the analytical skillset

• Belief in the power of technology to change lives

• Enthusiasm for pursuing creative areas with technology such as video, animation, graphics, music, and coding

• Ability to work well with a variety of ages and personalities

• Able to pass a background check
